Luxembourg - Luxembourg City

I bought this card during my short trip to Luxembourg in December 2008. I've already been to Luxembourg for several times (twice to the capital and twice to some smaller towns) and I must tell you it's a really beautiful country. It's small (Of course, compared to Vatican or Monaco, it's several thousands times bigger, the area of Luxembourg is 2 586 square kms) but it doesn't mean that the whole country is just the Luxembourg City and nothing else :) Of course, the capital is worth visiting, because it's an interesting connection of old architectore (the old quarters and fortifications of Luxembourg City are a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and modern streets with many banks and other institutions. Last time I went to Luxembourg by train and I learned that, despite of being such a small country, they have their own railways :) I like railways and trains, so I always find such information very useful :)

The city of Luxembourg (Luxembourgish: Lëtzebuerg, German: Luxemburg) is a commune with city status, and the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It is located at the confluence of the Alzette and Pétrusse rivers in southern Luxembourg and contains the historic Luxembourg Castle, established by the Franks in the Early Middle Ages, about which the area grew up. As of 2009, the commune of Luxembourg City has a population of 90,000.

Luxembourg City is one of the wealthiest cities in the world, having developed into a banking and administrative centre. Luxembourg is a seat of several institutions of the European Union, including the European Court of Justice, the European Court of Auditors, and the European Investment Bank.

I am not sure from the picture, but is this a die-cut (not cut to square) card? Those are always neat, unless you mail them; they always get to the destination with pieces missing.

Yes, it is a die-cut card (thanks for telling me how it's called, I didn't know it).
I read on the web site of Polish Post that such cards should be send in an envelope, otherwise they can be damaged or take a longer time to arrive. Still, I like such cards.
